Advantages: smell, effective, gentle
Disadvantages: cost
Let's cut to the chase - this cleanser isn't cheap. BUT, it's worth every penny. I swear, it cleanses everything, waterproof mascara, the lot, easily and without any pressure or feeling of tightness. It smells fantastic, it's calming if your skin's irritated or tender (see my Dr Hauschka review for evidence!), and it's just an amazing product. Truly. It's a simple enough process, you apply a small amount of the cream, massage it all over your face and neck, follow the pressure point instructions (detailed instructions supplied) to generate lymphatic drainage, dip the muslin cloth (supplied) into hot hot hot water, wring out, and then rest it on your face. Repeat 2 further times. Dip said cloth into cold cold water, wring it out, rest it on your face for 2 deep breaths (through your nose - savour the aroma) then take it off, rinse it and hang it out to dry for next time. This is my before bed ritual and it's so soothing it's the best remedy for insomnia I've ever known. I can't rate it highly enough! The ONLY drawback is the price (39.50 for 95ml). Try the starter kit for £22.50 and be converted, just beware because it's a pricey addiction. (The cream does last for ages though). Eve Lom products were tricky to locate but it is getting easier. You can buy online at the website but it's worth tracking down a stockist because they're quite generous with their samples!

- 17/05/02 I got my freebies from a salon nearby that sells the range (and does the facial using the products - £105 eeek!!!). I doubt you get them through the website so it's really a case of tracking down your nearest Space NK or other stockist - the website should have details. |

- 14/05/02 Regarding the pointers you ask for in your profile:
The best way to master Dooyoo is to read around the site. Read other people's opinions, look at the various categories available. Get a feel for what makes a good opinion - look up the premier opinions for this.
A good tip is to assume that the people who will be reading your opinion have never heard of the topic and thus you need to tell them everything there is to know about it.
If you are unsure - email some of the Community Guides and ask them to help you out.
Good luck :) |
