Advantages: very relaxing, cleared my skin, feels like a deep treatment
Disadvantages: price, not available everywhere
I finally gave in to temptation and bought the pricy Eve Lom Starter Kit, comprising of 2 small jars of cleanser, a muslin, and 3 other creams. After 2 weeks of daily use, I am converted! The cleanser doesn't smell particularly nice, and is quite expensive, but a little goes a long way. I was expecting a complicated routine, but I found it clearly explained and surprisingly quick. The secret of the Eve Lom skincare probably lies in the pressure points massage (very relaxing), then in the use of the muslin (great stuff!). This gives your face a complete, deep cleanse and massage. It left my skin super smooth, soft and clear. It also cleared some pink scars I had for ages. Although this is all your skin should need, I do find I need some light moisturiser, maybe it really depends on your skin type.

- 30/08/02 There is a seven steps pressure points available with the starter kit. It consists of pressing your fingers on various part sof your face for 5 seconds, then moving the fingers half an inch and repeating etc. Very relaxing. The muslin is used at the end of the massage, it is placed 3 times on the face after dipping it in hot water, then once in cold water to close the pores. I bought the starter kit, which cost ?43 in Nue Blue Eriu in Dublin. I believe the full jar of cleanser costs over ?60. As for the muslins, they retail under ?18... |

- 23/08/02 Hi Juliedeb. That's interesting as far as it goes, but I'm also intrigued as to what yuo have to do with the pressure and muslin. Also, how much is it and where did you get it from? |

- 23/08/02 Hiya Juliedeb and welcome to the site.
Sorry for the low rating (especially on your first op!) but I'm left feeling a little confused - perhaps a little more of an explanation into the pressure point thing - and what on earth do you do with the muslin?!?!? Also, you say it's pricey, but don't say how much LOL
Is it really *that* pricey.
Welcome to the site - you've got the makings of a brilliant op there, just a little more info would make it VU!
Have fun! Fishbulb >><>?™ |
