Advantages: Does what it's supposed to

Disadvantages: Not very luxurious

The first thing I noticed about this mask is the smell - I think it's a mix of leaf mulch and Vics chest rub. The second thing I noticed is that you really have to shake it before you use it otherwise you just get a handful of water. (Somehow I keep forgetting this part!)

The texture is of a thin clay mask with lumpy bits - it's really not attractive or luxurious. It's pretty economical though as you only need a thin layer. Then again, at this price it needs to be!

From here on in though I have only good things to say. It really does seem to work on clearing the pores and brightening the skin. Like many women I get spotty from time to time and this treatment does seem to make a difference. I leave it on for about 20 minutes, roll it off, and my skin looks visibly brighter, and for the next few days open pores and spots seem to be diminished.

I'm not using the whole range at the moment (I did love the Eve Lom cleansing ritual, but since then I've discovered OCM - not a commercial product but there's plenty of information about it on the web if you're interested). Anyway, my point is that while this mask works well with the rest of the Eve Lom range, for me it works just as well with my 'off-brand' cleansing routine.

Summary: Not really a treat to use, but definitely seems to work for me!
