I am always a bit hesitant about trying facail masks as they always make my skin sting and I have to wash them off immediately so I was not expecting a miracle from Eve Lom.

The recue masque has a very strong smell so I was worried it would irritate my skin so I almost gritted my teeth upon application. I was pleasantly suprised, it did not sting or irritate. The clay like texture is easy to apply, it is quite a thick paste so it does not drip while applying. You need to leave the masque on for about 15-20 minutes and it does dry quickly and makes it hard to talk or smile. It is quite easy to get off, it kind of just flakes away.

I was really happy with the results, I have a strange skin type, sometimes very oily with breakouts, sometimes it is dry and sensitive so I would guess this would be good on all skin types, it gave my skin a healthy looking glow to it and seemed to have help close up open pores around my nose and cheeks, giving me a more even skin tone. I wouldnt say it is a miracle product but I will definately be using it again, especially as I am prone to breakouts.
