... way! Using is as an eyeshadow base works well with eyeshadows that have some shimmer in them as matte shadows are meant to be matte, not shimmery! It prolonged my eyeshadow and left it without that horrible greasy crease line I am prone to in the heat! It is a lovely cream however don't see how it can be used a moisturiser as it is just far to glittery. As a highlight it works great and gives just the right amount of radiance without looking like a disco ball! :) I will definately buy this product again, altho...more

I'd read HannahFelicity's review on this cream before walking past a shelf in Superdrug with it prominently displayed along with other Eyeko cosmetics. I have to admit that I would never have picked this up if I hadn't read her review beforehand because to me it screams 'I'm perfect for your 12 year old niece!'. The box is VERY pink and in fact the whole range was tacky in the same kind of way. What The Packaging Looks Like: Well it's *pink*, and it has a cartoon character on it which I am guessing is a kind of Manga inspiration but a very pink version. The box loudly proclaims 'Feel The Glow' on one side of the box, 'Create a ...  Read the complete review

The Eyeko cream was a real surprise find! Whilst wondering around in Superdrug I came across a little section with girly looking lip-glosses, nail varnishes and sparkly face powder by a brand called "Eyeko". I was just about to dismiss this brand as being a "bit too young for me", when I spotted, sitting in the middle of the display a small pink box with a smiling Japanese cartoon Harajuku character on. I was a little intrigued so I picked up the box and read "Wow feel the glow, create a flawless base". On closer inspection, the Eyeko cream is a 3 in one cream, for use as a moisturiser, eye cream and a highlighter. I tested a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Eyeko Cream: Eyeko 3 in 1 cream (298 words)

I came across this brand in Superdrug a few months ago and was immediately drawn to the cute, Japanese Mange style packaging. I had been looking for a skin highlighter for a while and upon trying this product, decided I would give it a try for just under £5. This product claims to be a 3 in 1, can be used as a highlighter, moisturiser and eye cream. The cream is very shimmery and upon opening the small jar could see the amount of shimmer that was in it, pretty good for a cheap product! I wouldn't use it as a moisturiser as it is just too shimmery, but as a highlighter and eye shadow base it works perfectly. It is comparable to Benefit High Beam however the Eyeko ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Eyeko Shimmer Cream (192 words)

When I first picked up this product as I was really excited, as I'm quite pale and foundations don't tend to work well on me as I always look strange wearing them as they all seem to be just a shade too dark. Therefore, the idea of a tinted moisturiser which really shimmered and glowed was just what i was looking for. When i tested the product in store, I wasn't dissapointed. When I took it home, I wasn't *quite* as impressed. The cream does indeed shimmer, but it shimmers a bit too much if not used extremley sparingly, and can leave streaky marks across your face if you don't rub it in really thoroughly and evenly, so it takes a long time to apply. It also ...  Read the complete review
