Cleansing Souffle - Shame it's not lathering souffle! (Fcuk Polished Cleansing Souffle)

Advantages: Cleans my skin, softens skin, smells nice, not too overpowering.

Disadvantages: A little expensive for the mini tubs.

FCUK Cleansing Souffle is provided in a circular plastic tub which is tinted with a black screw top lid which is easily removed. Once removed I can see the 'cleansing souffle' within and it is a light pink coloured cream. I am immediately hit by the scent of this cream as soon as the pot is opened and it is probably mandarin and pink grapefruit as this is two of the main fruit ingredients in this product. The scent is very nice & makes me a little hungry it smells so good.

I use this product in the shower or bath and simply apply it to wet skin, massage it in and then give it a slight rinse to remove any traces or residue. I do find that the tub isn't very well designed for the bath/shower as it retains water very easily but this is rectified simply by tipping up the tub and shaking off any remaining water. The souffle itself is very thick so none of this should fall out when getting rid of the water. Not much of the souffle is required as it seems to absorb in to wet/damp skin very well and I think a little goes a long way. I have taken to using this and then using the polished whipped cream when I have got out the bath or shower and towel dried myself, a combination of the two products is giving me very soft, smooth, skin and I will continue to use them in conjunction with each other.

I am quite pleased with this product, I do wish the tub was better designed and that it produced a lather when being used in the shower, but apart from this I think the product is very good overall and I am rating it 4/5, having knocked off one point because of the design flaw & lack of bubbles!

It is not quite as overpowering as the other product that I have reviewed and this means that using the two together is nice as it helps to tone down the scent of the whipped bodycream a little. I would recommend this (but mainly if received as a gift - like I did). it is available from Boots for £5.50 for a 300ml pot or £2.25 for a 75ml pot (mini sized). Boots tend to have fairly frequent offers on FCUK such as 3 for 2 or 2 for 1 etc and this is when I generally stock up on my favourites or to try out something new.

Summary: A great product thats nicely scented and leaves my skin feeling lovely.
