I've been using Cetaphil for some time now and have been fairly happy with the results. I think it's fair to say I'm quite concerned with the quality of my skin (what woman isn't!), so I've tried most of the middle-priced cleansers out there. Cetaphil uses its 'gentleness' as a selling point, and it certainly lives up to its promise. I don't have any serious acne or skin conditions, though I am prone to a little rosacea (that slight 'red rash' look on the cheeks) and eczema during the dry winter months. Of course Cetaphil hasn't *cured* these things, but it certainly hasn't made them worse (the way other cleansers ... Read the complete review

Cetaphil is a very basic and very gentle cleanser, so if you are after anything more then this definately isnt the right cleanser for you. This cleanser does not remove makeup!!! This cleanser is best suited to those with acne or problem skin, the product itself is a fragrance free gel, this is not a soap based product so doesnt foam upon application, it is a surfactant which degrease and emulsify oils on the skin allowing them to be washed away without over drying the skin therefore preventing further breakouts, this is why this cleanser is not suitable for those with dry skin. It leaves your skin feeling soft and clean but not tight or dry. The product itself ... Read the complete review

I have been using Cetaphil as a face cleanser for over 10 years. It is the best face cleanser I have ever come across. Since using Cetaphil my skin has had little to no breakouts and it feels as soft as a baby's bottom. Cetaphil can be used for all ages and on any skin type from dry to oily and anything in between. There is also a moisturizer but I stick to the cleanser. It comes in a variety of packaging so if you like a pump or a tube or a jar they are available. I personally use the pump and find that just one pump is enough to clean my face daily. One pump lasts for 8 -12 months and makes a great bargain at only 2.79. You can find Cetaphil at Boots, and ... I get dry skin during winters and sometimes it gets flaky and the skin starts to come out. This winter I over exfoliated and my skin went extremely dry,so the first thing I did was I put some olive oil on my face,to my surprise it didn't work, then I put some baby oil on my face it didn't work as well.I went to a skin care specialist and he suggested me Galderma Cetaphil I thought it would be another moisturizing cream and guess what to my utter surprise it worked and in two days all my dry skin vanished,I was really very happy and the cream is not very greasy just a little greasy. One more thing I have noticed is that good products are not advertised and this is one of ... I bought this as it is made for those of us with sensitive skin. That aside the price is quite high for what it is. Its very gentle and sometimes you aren't even sure if it really helps or not? ALl in all I have found many similar products to cetaphil but at half the price. Its a decent cleanser but its not worth spending £6+ when you can get practically the same thing from other brands for under ... Read the complete review
