Advantages: Decent grainy exfoiliator with anti-oxidant.

Disadvantages: Too harsh for sensitive skin, a bit drying.

When I bought this, my intention was that it was for my husband, not me. I usually use Guinot Gommage Biologique to exfoiliate as I find the grainy exfoiliators a bit too harsh. However Hubby has tough old male skin so he gets a grainy one of his own in an attempt to keep his paws off mine!

Having said that I usually try a bit of his, even if it's just on my legs!

**The packaging
It's quite distinctly Garnier with the trademark Green and white packaging, the tube is standard quality (lasts long enough to use the product but crumples a bit when you try to get the last few applications out), it has a black flip lid, which also doubles up as the base to stand the tube on, whilst this type of packaging is easy and convenient to use, I do find that if you leave it in the shower water collects in the flip lid (even if it's closed).

**The product
The packaging says the product is suitable for normal skin and a complexion which has become dull due to pollution and impurities. It has anti-oxidant green mint and Vitamin E which it claims will purify pores and detoxifiy the skin's surface. It promises fresher, softer skin and a radiant complexion.

The product says to use daily, massaging a hazlenut amount in a circular motion concentrating on forehead, nose and chin. Rinse thoroughly in cool water.

The cream is very thick and white in colour with small blue granules, from the texture I expected it to be quite harsh so I tried it first of all on my upper arms. The smell is nice and fruity and the cream lathers up slightly making the texture much smoother. My skin felt softer immediately. The next day I tried it on my face and was pleasantly surprised, it left my skin soft and smooth and did genuinely give a radiant glow. I did, however, feel my skin was a little dry afterwards.

**The Verdict
I don't think I would be able to use it daily, but I'm sure someone without sensitive skin would not have a problem. My husband uses it daily and thinks it's good, one benefit for men is that the grainy granules prevent ingrown hairs from shaving.

The 150ml tube costs £4.99.

Summary: A fair price for a decent product.
