To wake you up in the mornings!

Do you have bags and dark circles under your eyes, if so then Garnier Nutritionist Eye Roll on might be for you?!

Garnier Eye Roll on is basically a liquid which you role on under your eyes which is said to help reduce the appearnace of bags and dark circles which in turn makes you tired. According to Garnier tests conducted under dermatological control have shown that daily use of Nutritionist Caffeine Eye Roll on can visibly reduct the appearance of dark circles and bags beneath the eyes.

The liquid comes in a handy green coloured tube, it almost looks like a mascara wand. At the top is a metal roller ball through which the liquid comes through. The ball makes it really easy to roll the liquid under your eyes at it coats the ball and then comes out smoothly, easily and safely onto your undereyes. I like the fact that the roller ball is metal because it instantly cools your under eyes as you apply it to your skin. This is great first thing in the morning to really give you a quick boost and wake your eyes up. The liquid is colourless and does not smell so it is fine to use before you put on your make up. It also soaks in quickly and does not leave any residue. Apparently, according to Garnier the massage application using the roller ball is specially designed to encourage drainage around the eye contour area. They go on to say that massage is a technique used by experts to stimulate the natural micro-circulation and drainage of the skin.

The liquid has two main ingredients, the first one being caffeine. Caffeine is known for its stimulating properties and so can refresh your tired eyes. The other ingredient is pro-vitamin B5 which is known for its hydrating properties which is again another great product for your face as a whole.

I have been using this product for about a month now. Garnier recommend daily use which I have pretty much done, applying the liquid in the mornings when I get up. I didn't particularly have bags or dark circles under my eyes to begin with so I can't comment on whether these have disappeared as I did not have them. I have however found that my eyes looks a bit brighter and the skin underneath them seems a bit tighter and fresh so hopefully this product does work quite well for me.

I bought this product from Boots. Usually a 15ml tube retails for £9.78. I probably wouldn't pay this full price as I think it's a beauty product you could probably do without and is not an essential but Boots were running a promotion on the product for £5.78 so I decided to give it a try this one time. I'm not sure whether I would rush out to buy another one right now but it's definitely something I would use in the future as I got older and my skin got looser.

It'd be a bit of a nightmare if you mixed it up with your roll on deodorant... :)
