Garnier Nutritionist Eye Roll-on
The Product
Sitting on my couch one evening and the new advert for Garnier Nutritionist Eye Roll-on pops up before my eyes - wow was my first impression! I had never seen a product quite like it! Get rid of the shopping bags under your eyes, dark circles, wrinkles - this sounds like the product that 99% of the population is looking for!
When researching the product online the first thing that hit me was the price - a little bit on the pricey side but if it claims to work as it says then it must be a bargain and well worth a try.
On my next shopping trip I made a special visit to my local Superdrug who had the Roll-on on offer at on £4.99. This was half the price of the other high street chains.
The Packaging
I was surprised that there was not many instructions on the packaging - if any as I no longer have the box. If I hadn't have viewed the advert I probably would not have known quite what to do with it. It comes in a funky lime green curvy bottle which is very easy to hold and is see through so you can tell when you are running low. The best feature is just underneath the screw off lid. A shiny silver metal roller ball that delivers the gel inside.
The Result
The first application of the product felt very refreshing ( a clear quite runny gel) but I also noticed how uncomfortable rolling this metal ball over my eye socket was - even thinking about it now makes me cringe! The product then felt quite sticky and when it dried on my skin it felt very tight and slightly flaky.
After using the product for a month I came to a conclusion - this product has done nothing at all, the dark circles were just as dark, maybe it did help the puffiness but nothing that a couple of slices of cucumber or some cold spoons from the fridge wouldn't have done.
I am really disappointed with this product. It offered so much and unfortunately did not deliver in my opinion.
Summary: A good concept but it doesn't work for me!
