Garnier Eye Roll-On is a premium eye-care product that has been around for a couple of years now and is always advertised by flaming Davina MaCall, so I decided to give it ago. Afterall what mother doesn't need something to cover the bags after a night with a screaming baby.

The retail price is normally about £10, which I think is slightly steep, I bought mine when it was half price, which I thought was alright for a premium product.

It is a thick , moisturising liquid which contains Pro-Vitamin B5 and Caffeine, to sooth and cool the surrounding eye area which is meant to give you a more awake bright eyed look. You get 15ml of the product, which doesn't seem that much but you only need a little bit, as it spreads really thinly around the eye area.

There is a screw cap with a silver roller ball underneath, which is how you apply the product. It is designed to be quick and easy to do.

The product doesn't really have a scent to it, it just smells of nothing and I find myself having to wash it off to apply concealer under my eyes to cover the bags otherwise it just makes my make up flaky and uneven.

I'm unsure to how much awaking this product actually does. Ok it makes my eyes slightly less puffy and I feel a slight tingling so it must be doing something but I'm not sure to be honest.

I recommend that if you put a couple of slices of cucumber over your eyes or cold teabags they would have the same effect. It just seems expensive for what it actually is. I have to say they have the packaging and the easy application bit sorted but it is the product that needs improving.

Summary: Better off with some cucumber!
