Clever advertising, but totally ineffective (Garnier Eye Roll-on)
Member Name: aimilie
Advantages: Easy enough to apply, and psychological effects might be enough for some people Disadvantages: Doesn't actually work
Recently I have noticed my eyes looking puffier and puffier in the mornings. Instead of doing the sensible thing and going to bed earlier, I thought I'd try this cute, fun looking product. What a waste of money! It makes me feel more awake, but only because of the cold wet metal ball I've jammed into my eye. It doesnt change the appearance of bags or anything at all around my eyes. It feels weird, cold and wet. I sort of feel refreshed, but it is entirely due to the sensation of applying it, rather than the chemicals in it. And after all, the whole point of the product is its physical results, of which there are none. If you want to reduce shadowy, puffy eyes, I think the best option is more beauty sleep.....or just some very good foundation (or indeed my new best friend, Touche Eclat)!. Summary: Save your money and get some beauty sleep! |
