I've been devoted to this make-up remover for absolutely years now. My eyes get irritated quite easily (hmm, like the rest of me really!) and are often itchy at the end of the day - especially after a day when i've driven long distances for work.

Before this, i tried numerous oil and cream based makeup removers, and without exception they left my eyelids feeling heavy and gunky, and more often than not i'd manage to get some in at least one eye, for a half hour of lovely blurred vision.

This remover is a gentle liquid, which doesn't end up in your eyes. It feels wonderfully cool and fresh on my eyelids, and my eyes are soothed as well as clean after using it - so much so that i sometimes use a pad soaked with a little of this, held against my eyelids for a few minutes, instead of eye drops. I'm not sure if it's the "floral extracts" mentioned on the pack, but the liquid also has a delicious light scent, like a summer breeze!

The only downside is that this is probably not the best at obliterating makeup. I normally use a little eyeliner and maybe one coast of mascara, and i do sometimes find there are a few traces left after i've washed and dried my face...i think that if you're using very heavy makeup and / or waterproof mascara, one of the nasty oil based removers are probably better at getting it all off in one go. That said, it is only the odd trace, and this isn't nearly enough to make me consider using any other brand.

At about £2.80 a bottle, there are cheaper alternatives out there, but each bottle lasts me over a year so I think it's fantastic value for a remover that feels so great in use.

Summary: I wouldn't use anything else.
