Advantages: Gently exfoliates, easy to use tube,

Disadvantages: not as cheap as some skincare ranges, skin can feel tight if not moisturised after use.

I like this deep pore wash, it really seems to help keep my sometimes awful spot and blackhead prone skin clean and clear.
I admit I am a skincare-aholic, you only have to look at my other reviews (many more soon to be added) on the variety of skincare/haircare/make up products to prove that I have a problem with all things "to make you prettier". Yes - I'm kinda into trying to look ok - I can't help it.
Anyway onto the product review...

***The Packaging***

The Garnier Pure Deep Pore Wash comes in a "peacock" shiny blue tube, which stands upright on it's flip top lid. The design is easy on the eye, and it is clear what the product is and what it is meant to do. On the front it tells us that this product "Unclogs pores + helps clear imperfections. Helps protect against blackheads". It also tells us that it contains "Exfoliating particles and eucalyptus, and it is dermatologically tested".

On the back of the tube lies lots of information - much of which is in almost difficult to read tiny writing.

***My Thoughts and Experience***

I use this product most days and like the feeling of clean skin it leaves behind. The actual product is gel-like, containing tiny blue "seeds" (micro-particles of course!) that when rubbed gently into the skin have exfoliating properties. This isn't as harsh an exfoliating action as some products I have used, I don't feel as if I have used sandpaper after using this cleanser. It doesn't really lather up as such - but stays in it's gel like consistency throughout the washing process.
The smell is pleasant, and the product can be squeezed from the tube with ease.
I haven't had any problems with this product, although I do find it takes a little more rinsing than most to ensure all is washed away - but that's a small price to pay for something that leaves my skin feeling so clean. Without moisturising afterwards, my skin can get a slight tightened feel to it, but with moisturiser, my skin just feels cleansed and refreshed.

***To Summarise***

If you are, like me, one of those people that are always in search of that magical perfect skincare product - give this a go. Ok, so it's not the magical perfect product you are looking for, but you may well find that you too like the clean feeling this product gives you - just remember to moisturise afterwards.

Summary: A decent product at an almost decent price - definitely worth a try, just don't forget to moisturise
