Advantages: Effectively reduces Oiliness in the skin, Costs just £1 ( and change ), eliminates impurities and sebum by the gentle exfoliating action of cleansing micro-particles.

Disadvantages: The micro-particles are quite rough, A single wash consumes a lot of water

As you might have guessed, I have an oily skin. Though its still oily, the oiliness has reduced exponentially & I credit this development partly to the Garnier Pure Deep Face Wash & mostly to my change in diet though the former has been very helpful too. I was against using Garnier products before because none of them suited my skin type & it was quite irritating to use because I would get a kind of a rash on my lips whenever I used Garnier products before. But one day my mom who also has oily skin ( and for whom Garnier would suit well ) bought this Face Wash & at start I was against using it given to the misadventures I had with Garnier earlier, but still I decided to give it a last try ????.with a ?Clean? result ? Some Hell of an Oil Remover, This!!!! I was actually surprised when during the first trial this gel could really dry my skin. Though drying the skin is again harmful, it felt much better than the oily feeling I used to put up with ( you would only understand if you had oily skin ). When I feel that my face has been really dried then I put some water on my skin ?cos applying any moisturizer would get me back to that uncomfortable oily feeling again. Though the Garnier Deep Pore Face Wash suited my skin I advise you to first use just a drop on the back of your hand to assure yourself of any negative reactions if any because I cannot guarantee it to suit everybody?s skin as you see I myself was a victim of such a side-reaction. And one more thing, you can get best results by involving a massaging action while washing your face with the Garnier Deep Pore Face Wash & its best if you use only your finger tips rather than your whole hand ( like you do for a soap wash ). I
cannot give full rating cos it dries the skin, but a 4/5 is a sure Justice.

You really cannot expect the wash to be a smooth ride because of the micro-particles which though do not damage the skin, they feel really rough like fine sand. And you must not apply with pressure or you won?t derive any post-wash pleasure, instead you?ll feel a slight burning sensation on the applied part. The first time I used it I did not follow any instructions from my mom ( who is an expert in this department, as I?m not a girl ) & I scrubbed my face with the gel as if I was washing my dog?s body?..& in the end I did feel a lot of burning sensation in my face & that was very uncomfortable ( try to imagine ). Hence i advise you to incorporate a gentle massaging action rather than a ?Washing? action. As someone said ?As you sow, so you reap?, the Garnier Deep Pore Face Wash really is an effective face wash for oily skin, but at a slight period of discomfort which is nothing compared to the end result ? A Clean Oil-Less Face That Is Pleasant To Look At!!!!!!

If any of you are familiar with such chemicals & feel that some of these are harmful to the skin. Please do let me know of such components in this product, as this is a synthetic product & we all know that certain chemicals can be harmful on the long run.

After all my experiences with this product I feel that this is a good buy, but if you have a sensitive skin then you better look for a Non-Exfoliating Face Wash as this might be quite irritating but for those who want to get rid of the oiliness & are ready to pay a price for it ( Financially & in terms of Comfort ) this is an easy buy & quite cheap too cos I bought it for just £1.00 in a wholesale department store. As I said before I recommend this product only for those who are willing to pay ( in the above mentioned terms ) to rid their skin of oiliness & those who have large reserves of water because the gel is kinda oily itself & needs a lot of water to wash the skin perfectly, so if you are living in a water-scarce area then you must think twice before buying this product.
