Advantages: Looks nice.

Disadvantages: Blades blunt quickly and are expensive to replace.

I bought this razor after my trusty Mach 3 finally gave up the ghost after one too many taps against the sink. I liked the look and the style of it and picked it up on offer with 1 extra blade for about £8 which seemed reasonable, until I used it.

The "closeness" that gillette pride themselves on was there but then it is with every other razor they've done so it's expected and nothing special, the first few times it glided down my skin smoothly though I think most of the credit is taken by the shaving gel! It was the rest of the time that was the problem. I only shave every other day and the blade went blunt in an incredibly short amount of time. No amount of cleaning under hot water was making any difference.

The other issue i have is the cost of blades. you can expect to spend over £12 for 4. In all it looks nice and is in the same price range as most other similar models but personally I think it's a waste of time and money. Not something I'll ever be buying again.

Summary: There are better products for the money.
