As soon as he used this razor he said how much better the closeness of the shave was and much easier to use. He found it caused less shaving cuts and also reduced his shaving rash to next to nothing because of the soapy strip along the top. Even his peers have commented on the difference. He has now said that he wont be changing razor ever again even though it is slightly more expensive t...more

Premium Review Gillette Mach3 Razor: Smoother Than A Snooker Table (289 words)

Razor adverts on TV are often ridiculous, with their preposterous promises about blades sharp enough to skin a fish while leave your skin soft and supple. Get a smooth chin and your towel-draped lover will bounce into the bathroom and stroke your face with her elegantly manicured hands. Rubbish. Gilette make a ridiculous amount of fuss over this neat three-blade concept too. To put it blunty (or not, as the case may be), this is a pretty damn good razor. It whacks of the whiskers with minimum fuss, providing a closer shave in far less time than anything else I've tried. The third blade, one expects, must make it 50% more effective than the other weak little ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Gillette mach 3 the best razor on the market (271 words)

Well i have got to say that the mach 3 in opinion is the best wet shaver on the market. I have tried many razors in the past and excuse the punn but nothing comes close to the mach 3. I often had problems when shaving my neck, i could only ever shave upwards when i used the old bic disposables which never gave me a close shave and if i tried shaving downwards it would cut my neck to shreds. I then received a mach 3 gift set for my birthday off my sister and that night had a nice hot bath and thought i would try out the mach 3 used with the gillette shaving gel. I was so impressed with the razor, it was just shaving so close and i could ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Gillette Mach3 Razor: Shave it (410 words)

**Introduction** I used to have a Gillette Mach Three razor but I had been using a disposable for the last few months after my razor was damaged but when I ran out of my shaving gel I decided to buy a new razor aswell as the Nivea Shaving foam which I also purchased when I was in my local Sainsbury's store. Here is my rundown of the world famous Gillette Mach Three Razor and my opinion of the quality of the shave it gives you. **Mach 3** This razor was released in 1998 after more than $750 million in research and development. The Razor is a three blade design that aims to make the shaving experience smoother with less skin irritation than ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Mach n Tosh (825 words)

Gillette. Probably the most well known name when you think of shaving. Been around for donkeys years, and have always been the good brand when browsing through Boots trying to find a new one. Their latest invention into the world of self-preservation, is the Mach3. Now don't ask me why they chose that name, when I think of shavers Mach3 is not something I associate with it. You have to shave pretty damn fast to reach Mach3, and so far, no matter how hard I try, I haven't managed to get that supersonic boom as my razor breaks the sound barrier, maybe I am doing something wrong, I don't know. In fact, when I was in the States, I had to buy another one, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Gillette Mach3 Razor: Feel the thrill!! (557 words)

I, along with probably most men, take no sense of achievment or pleasure from shaving. It's just one of those things you have to do, unless of course you want to grow a beard. I don't, therefore I have to shave. Admitedly I don't shave nearly as often as I should and usually try to get away with a couple in a working week (we have a casual dress day on Fridays and stubble dosn't look so bad then ;-)) So, anything that can make this process less of a burden gets a bit gold star in my book. Enter Mach3 from Gillete, this has to be by far the best wet razor I have ever used and I'm going to attempt to tell you why. Design - ...  Read the complete review

Close shave Cost

All blades fit different handles Blunt after 3 shaves

Not too bad a shave., Cheap., Lubrastrip prevents too many nicks and cuts. Not as good a shave as with a "swivel-head" razor.

Saves well leaving soft, smooth skin. Hair grows back too quickly.

Great value, does all that I need Not for showing off!
