**Introduction**

I used to have a Gillette Mach Three razor but I had been using a disposable for the last few months after my razor was damaged but when I ran out of my shaving gel I decided to buy a new razor aswell as the Nivea Shaving foam which I also purchased when I was in my local Sainsbury's store. Here is my rundown of the world famous Gillette Mach Three Razor and my opinion of the quality of the shave it gives you.

**Mach 3**

This razor was released in 1998 after more than $750 million in research and development. The Razor is a three blade design that aims to make the shaving experience smoother with less skin irritation than before. They say it gives greater comfort the other razors from their competitors. As you would expect this razor is more expensive than most of the competition due to the quality and the addition of a third blade.

**The Shave**

In practice this razor really works well and gives you a close shave with less irritation and more comfort than the disposables I was using for the past few months. With a good shaving cream, foam or gel you will be rewarded with a very smooth shave that reduces the amount of cuts you will get through shaving. I like to grow a small beard around my chin and this is dealt with very easily with this razor as is my facial hair when I have grown it a little more than usual.

**Price and Availiability**

You can buy the razor for around £5 and there are a number of different blade packs that you can buy when your blades need replacing. You should need to replace these every six months or so which is about the normal time for the best razor blades. You can find these blades in places like Boots, Superdrug and Wilkinson aswell as on any website that sells top fragrances etc.

**Overall**

I have never had any problems with the razors shaving ability and have been very pleased with all the Gillette razors I have ever used. If you have a good shaving foam or gel then you will experience the full shaving quality of the razor. If you havent tried this one yet then give it a go next time you need to replace your razor or blades.
