When reviewing, I normally try and compose a fair, balanced view - highlighting the positive and negative aspects of each product, before reaching a conclusion. However, I can't do this with the Gillette Mach3 Razor - as it's so good...

It isn't the same for all men, but I couldn't use a disposable razor. I would end up feeling like I had just given blood. Electric shavers were problematic also - resulting in terrible shaving rash. This is why I can't recommend the Mach3 highly enough - No cuts, No rash, close Shave. That said, shaving products are difficult to review, as they will have different results for different users.

Refill blades can be bought for around £7 for a pack of eight. I used to think this was expensive, but I realized I could happily use the same blade for a whole month without it significantly blunting.

I'm sure the rival Wilkinson Sword range of products are good also, but I haven't tried them so I can't comment - however, I give an extremely highly recommendation to the Gillette Mach3.
