There is no question that this is the best razor on the market right now. At least as far as I'm concerned. I am one of those unfortunate men who suffers badly from 'razor rash' as a nasty after effect from shaving. But I have found that the Mach 3, reduced this hugely because of how smooth a shave it provided. Never before using this razor had I managed to shave clean leaving my skin completely smooth, and yet the Mach 3 managed it. The blades also seem to stay sharper a lot longer than other razors, my only having needed to change the blades once and I bought my Mach 3 shortly after I first saw it advertised on TV. A Lot of people, particularly my better half, don't seem to understand the necessity of a high quality razor. Yes the Mach 3 is one of the more expensive razors on the market, but you are getting premium quality for your money. I've never cut myself with this razor, and it genuinely is a closer and smoother shave. It really is worth spending the money on, even RRP, and truth to tell, you could probably easily find one for much cheaper by searching different online and high street stores. If money is an issue for you in this climate, its still worth the time to find this razor for a manageable sum.

Summary: Despite the cost, the quality is far an away superior, amking it worht said cost.
