Advantages: very close shave and blades last ages
Disadvantages: blades are quite expensive
After writing a review on the poo version of a three bladed razor (see Lynx razor) I thought that I would now write about the better version. Unlike the previously mentioned scrap metal the Mach 3 does actually cut hair, which is a big bonus when buying a razor. We are talking from a woman’s point of view here so I can’t tell you how well it cuts chin hair – perhaps there are some women who shave their chin but I am not one of them. Leg hair, it cuts brilliantly and I have only ever had one major accident when I wasn’t really concentrating, someone knocked on the door, shaving around the ankle area, blood everywhere. You know what razor cuts are like as well, could not stop it. I tired everything, even brown parcel tape but that didn’t work either. Unluckily I was shaving my legs to go out that night and in the end just had to let it bleed all over the place all night, all into my shoe. At least it was near the bottom of my leg I suppose. So back to the subject. The blades in this razor last forever. I only really need to use one a week, how often do I use it? In the summer every day and I still only need one blade a week, I must have soft leg hair!!! If we are going to get really personal it does the bikini line splendidly as well, make sure you shave the right was though or it really hurts and starts bleeding but that’s on a need to know basis I suppose. After much thought and testing I think that this is the best razor I have ever used and I won’t be changing to another one. Unless they bring out something that shaves your legs for you, any volunteers??? (just joking!)
