Hugo Boss introduced Hugo in 1995 and it was immensely popular when it was released. It had a definite young scent and was definitely popular with 18 - 25 year olds. I think that it still retains a big following and is as popular as ever and is holding its own in a saturated market.

Its fragrant nature explores essences of fresh citrus, apples and pine blended with notes of clove, rum and sandalwood, Hugo is a casual and sporty type of fragrance. Hugo is a refreshing, spicy, lavender fragrance suitable for casual and sporty wear. It definitely has a sweet smell to it, but in my opinion it is not overly powerful or sickly sweet. It is a very distinctive smell and easily recognisable if someone walks past you in the street wearing it.

It is quite a masculine scent and I would not imagine that a girl would wear it, unlike some other lighter aftershaves. It could even be described as 'rugged'!

100ml can now be got for as little as £20 on some websites and I think you can get 125 ml bottle size as well.

I feel that the scent lasts a long time when you spray it on you, so no worries about it fading or anything.

A great scent, great value for money too!
