Advantages: Low price, works well even on stubborn make-up, doesn't irritate and no perfume
Disadvantages: If you forget to completely close the lid before shaking you will make a mess!
This dual oil eye make up remover is an absolute snip at £2.99 for 100ml - especially as it's suitable for sensitive eyes and skin. It removes all make up, even waterproof mascara whilst conditioning and cleansing the eye area and eyelashes.
It comes in a clear plastic bottle (which you can recycle green folk!) with a pink lid. A clear bottle is the best container for this product as this way you can see the oils mixing together when you shake it and see how much you have left. It uses the same old faithful Johnsons logo and baby pink writing that is synonymous with the tried and trusted brand.
It is very easy to use - just shake the bottle (whilst closed!) to mix the two oil layers and then apply to a cotton pad, hold over the eye area for a few seconds and wipe downwards to get rid of the make-up. No rubbing, no pulling and definitely no tugging - great news for those worried about damaging the delicate skin around the eyes and giving yourself premature wrinkles doing so.
I find that this remover will take off all of my black eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara in just a few strokes - unlike others where I have had to resort to rubbing and stinging my eyes with removers in the past. This stuff has even removed false lash glue without making a huge mess or leaving flecks in my lashes. My eyelashes are also looking better conditioned since I started using this - making mascara application even better now.
This is good for your skin, works fantastically (and quickly) and is at a purse-friendly price - what more could you want from it?
Summary: Another good staple product from one of the most well known makers.

- 06/11/09 Oh yes, very mild - I have sensitive eyes and it didn't sting - even when I did manage to somehow get it in my eye. Johnsons are a favourite of mine :D |

- 06/11/09 Love johnsons stuff, i imagine it is quite mild, definitely one to try. Sick of that horrible stingy feeling with some removers. |
