Advantages: Three products in one, gives you clearer looking skin
Disadvantages: None!
I bought this product after a recommendation from a friend who's had bad skin for years. After she'd used the cleanser for a couple of weeks, her skin looked amazing. Being the cynic that I am I had to try this for myself. I bought the Johnsons Ph 5.5 3-in-1 Cleanser from Boots for about £3.99. I initially thought this was a little pricey for a cleanser (I usually go for a £1.99 one) but, considering it's a cleanser, toner and eye make-up remover all in one, thought I would give it a go. The first thing I noticed was the consistency of the cleanser, it's very light, not thick as I've found some cleansers to be. The makeup and dirt that comes off on your cotton wool is amazing (scary but amazing!) and you really feel like you have properly cleansed your skin. It does give you a very light stinging sensation but this passes after a couple of minutes, I can only assume this is the astringent in it. I've been using this cleanser for two weeks now and I have to say that I've noticed a visible improvement in my skin. There aren't many products I can use on my skin because it's very sensitive so I'm very impressed. It recommends on the bottle that you use it in the morning as well as the evening, which I do, because I've found that foundation goes on really nicely once you've cleansed with it. So, if you're fed up with thick, greasy cleansers and you want all three products in one, as well as clearer looking skin, then give this a go!
