Joop Homme Aftershave

I've had the good fortune to travel far and wide via my job, and as a result have spent endless hours sat around in airport lounges. One of the things you can do there, is wonder around the duty free shops - all of which contain a plethora of new fragrances. Following on from my previous review really, I love a smelly man - no not booze and B.O I'm talking a stunning fragrance that's to die for. I used to be such a fan of Joop but after my brother overdosing himself in it recently I've really gone off it I think. Joop is surpsingly quite an expensive and popular aftershave, you can also by the eau de toilette too. Joop is a man's aftershave that these days come in different colours and fragrances. I am going to review the red original Joop because this is the only one of the Joop range I have ever used. I started using this about 10 years ago and it started from a friend of mine. We were going on a night out and I was getting ready at his house. Obviously when you go out you have to put some aftershave on. Joop! So good they named it with an exclamation mark. So great they made it appear almost arrogant in it's naming. A risk? Of course, this stuff is a cracking aftershave and fragrance. Joop is the brain child of German fashionist Wolfgang Joop, so no need to question where he got the name from...Other than that, it's not very exciting - since 1997, Joop's products have been sold through Joop GmbH, which is clearly visible on the side of the packaging, and here is there main male product - "Homme." If I told you there was an aftershave that would guarantee women and men (if that floats your boat) falling over themselves to get near you, you would probably think I was mad. Well, yes, I am mad, but I can honestly say that Joop Homme Eau de Toilette is this aftershave.
