King of Shaves are very much into what they describe as shaving hardware and software, the software being a range of products to prepare your skin for shaving, to protect and aid effective shaving and then aftershave to promote the recovery of yourskin. Even if your skin feels great after shaving you have removd skin cells during the process, so this stuff prevents dryness, keeps your skin soft and prevents sun burn too!!!...more

Crowned Review King of Shaves K-24 Active Men's Moisturiser: Take 2 bottles? I use K-24! (980 words)

"Ladies and gentlemen of the class of 97 Wear sunscreen. If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long-term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists, whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience I will dispense this advice now". ****************************************************** I like to think of myself as a man of the milennium. I cook, iron, call when I'm supposed to and can listen sympathetically (at a push!). At the same time, I play football 2 or 3 times a week, enjoy the occasional beer or 3 and am more than ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Good but not for everyone (487 words)
by - written on 30/07/03 (Very useful, 163 readings)
Rating:

I first bought this product around 2 years ago and at that time I wasn't aware of the importance of a skincare routine and so I would just put this on whenever I remembered. I wasn't actually aware of any changes and I didn't really use it regularly. I started using it again at the beginning of this summer as I now know a lot more about skin care and I liked the fact it had an SPF of 8. I have been using Molton Brown's Instant Matte Moisturiser (check out my other op) since January so I was aware of the changes that a good skincare product could make. The King of Shaves Moisturiser however was more than 3 times cheaper so I was willing to try ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review King of Shaves K-24 Active Men's Moisturiser: Want a face as silky soft as my girlfriends bum? (1028 words)
by - written on 25/07/01 (Very useful, 222 readings)
Rating:

OK, so if you have read my last opinion you will know how to get a face as smooth as me girlfriends bum, but do you know how to get a face as silky soft and nourished as my girlfriends bum? No, I bet you don’t, so I’m going to tell you! It’s called moisturiser. Yes, you can laugh now, I’m a bloke but you women have taken over our clothes, our shaving gear, our aftershaves and our deodorants so I think we should be able to take over something of yours, especially if it makes us all nice and soft! So, once you have got over the stage of ‘I’m a man, what do I need moisturiser for’ and face the fact that your face feels like ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review You calling me a softy? (663 words)
by - written on 12/01/04 (Very useful, 91 readings)

I know what you?re all thinking, benniash has lost the plot and showing his true colours by admitting to moisturise. Well hold your horses, firstly this is the first time that I have ever moisturised and secondly it was a free sample?so there, keep the girly wise cracks to yourself! The King of Shaves product range is one that I had never tried before, simply because I was so happy with Gillette, and in my world I only change things for a reason. However I?m also a sucker for free samples, so when my other half told me about the offer on their website I went straight there and ordered my free pack. Within a week an envelope arrived containing three samples; ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review King of Shaves K-24 Active Men's Moisturiser: Software Application (262 words)
by - written on 27/03/09 (Very useful, 58 readings)

Havind noticed that this product has not been reviewed for some time, I thought I would add my tuppence worth and bring things up to date. No, this Men's Moisturiser has not been consigned to eternal obsolesence but still survives on the shelves of the likes of Boots, Superdrug, Tesco and Sainsbury. It did undergo a face lift last year with introduction of a slick new packaging design. Recommended Retail Price for what it's worth comes in at £5.99, I have never paid that much or anything like it; believe me shop around you'll do better. What it is, as part of a range of KoS shaving range, is an aftershave facial moisturiser for men, with the added ...  Read the complete review
