King of Shaves produce an extensive range of products aimed at improving the shaving experience for both men and ladies. Their products fall into three main categories, face wash gels to cleanse the skin and soften the beard in preparation , shaving oils and gels to lubricate the skin and prepare the stubble and after shave lotions to soothe, protect and moisturise. Last year they introduced the Azor Hybrid Razor which could be counted as a forth category but as King of Shaves in their own terminology describe their razors as shaving hardware and the range of preparations to aid shaving as software, therefore I am treating them separately. Sorry I haven't written any opinions for a while, I have been exfoliating, with the super scientific-sounding K-XF. It was my birthday a couple of weeks ago, and yes, there is actually a reason for me bragging about that - a few, actually. The first is that it was my birthday, which means I get more attention than usual. The second is that I am now 22, and my cynical friends love reminding me that although I may not realise it, my skin is losing its suppleness, and has been doing so since I hit 18. I need to exfoliate every other day, otherwise I swear my face would fall off. I tend to have quite flaky skin, and exfoliating every other day is pretty much a must for me. Besides this I find that exfoliating is a good way to soften and cleanse the skin to prepare it for the chore that we call "shaving". I came across K-XF by King of Shaves by chance when it was on offer in Superdrug (a third off!). As I had already bought the daily face wash by them (see seperate review),tihs was supposed to be the ideal companion.
