Advantages: Great feeling during and after shave
Disadvantages: Small Bottle
Yesterday I wrote a review about the KOS Azor, totally forgetting about this little gem. Again the credit for buying this product has to go to my wife, who was fed up of my red sore neck.
I really did suffer badly with sensitive skin and razor burn, but that before I swapped to this product. This product really does stick to that old addage good things come in small packages!
I found this product very easy to use, especially with the instructions provided with it. It could be very tempting to squeeze a lot from this bottle, especially if you are used to shaving foam or gel, however, the instructions said that three drops is all you need and they were very correct. After massaging my beard with the gel, the KOS Azor Razor simply glided across my face. You do need to be careful that you dont shave too fast as you can cut yourself easier without the protection of foam. However, I found the fact that I could see my face, not covered with foam, made it easier to get an all over shave.
I suppose one downshide could be the size of the product. It would be very easy to overlook this on the shelf as you may feel that it does not offer value for money, however, the claim that you can get 100 shaves from the bottle I think is going to prove pretty accurate.
The post shave feeling is always important with a product like this and I feel the oil has alllowed me to have a close shave and the anti bacterial nature of the oil leaves you skin feeling fresh and tingly, you feel like its working even after you have stopped shaving. My razor burn has nearly gone and I think continued use of this product will rid me of it all together.
Summary: I will never go back to Gillette
