My skin in general isn't too bad, but I have combination skin so I do sometimes suffer from a very greasy t-zone, and often choose products that are supposed to help fight this. A few years ago I'd used a deep exfoliating gel wash by garnier which I had really liked, so when I saw this product, which was essentially L'oreal's version of the same product, I thought I'd give it a go. I picked it up from Boots for £3.99 at a time when the Pure Zone range was on a 2 for 1, so I got the moisturiser in the same range effectively free with it. I came across this product when looking for something to control my greasy t-zone area. I thought the product looked professional and decided to buy it even though it was a rather hefty £5! The product contains micro beads, sebo-calmyl and salicylic acid and claims to unblock pores and remove dead skin cells. The package design is made so the lid is at the bottom which makes it very wasteful as the product is extremely runny and when you open it a large amount pours out. L'Oreal have recently unleashed their new 3 step skin care programme on to the market to help those with occasionally or frequently oily skin combat the problem and achieve so called 'continuous purity'. The product range for this skin care programme comes under the name of Pure Zone and all are easily identifiable by their similar mainly light blue and white packaging with the new L'Oreal Pure Zone logo.
