... L'Homme is a composition of fresh citrus, spicy and aromatic coriander and warm woodsy notes such as musk, amber and sandalwood. On my personal evaluation the citrus is certainly evident from the initial smell. Then follows the spicy element that certainly does smell woody and sort of tobacco like. The musk is also very evident at the end of the smell and lingers wonderfully in the air. I personally like the smell but it is not one of the best that I have used. Jeanne Lanvin was born in Paris in 1867 and was recognized as one of the best known fashion designers of her time. In 1927 she became one of the first fashion designers to launch a fragrance in the name of "Arpege", which was described as a perfume that "gave a woman what music gives life". In 1998 they launched "Lanvin L'Homme" in the United States and after that it was launched worldwide.
