On my personal evaluation the citrus is certainly evident from the initial smell. Then follows the spicy element that certainly does smell woody and sort of tobacco like. The musk is also very evident at the end of the smell and lingers wonderfully in the air. I personally like the smell but it is not one of the best that I have used. Jeanne Lanvin was born in Paris in 1867 and was recognized as one of the best known fashion designers of her time. In 1927 she became one of the first fashion designers to launch a fragrance in the name of "Arpege", which was described as a perfume that "gave a woman what music gives life". In 1998 they launched "Lanvin L'Homme" in the United States and after that it was launched worldwide. As mentioned, in several of my opinions, I am reviewing all the fragrances that came in my gift box. Lanvin L'Homme is one of these and after this I only have two more left.
