After years of hearing nothing but good things about this cleanser, I finally gave in and decided to give it a go. It costs £10.75 for a 100ml bottle or £20 for a 200ml tube from Liz Earle's website, but you can also get starter packs which include 2 muslin cloths for just £1.50 extra. This cleanser is a rich, concentrated cream with a 2-phase process to purify, soften, and reveal fresh, radiant skin. It's made with natural ingredients including cocoa butter to moisturise, eucalyptus oil to purify and chamomile to soothe the skin. They say it's extremely gentle and safe to use around the eyes to remove even stubborn mascara, and it's best used with a muslin ... Read the complete review

I discovered Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish after running out of my usual cleanser and finding my mums after raiding the bathroom cupboards. Where from? My mother is a complete QVC nut. She buys all her Liz Earle products there and a 'todays special value' comes up quite often so you can easily save a pound or two off of the RRP. You can also buy it off Amazon and Ebay. Price? Two 100ml Cleanse and Polish bottles will set you back around £22.50. You also get two muslin cloths. The only annoying thing about QVC is the bottles come in duplicate, in trio's, or in a set alongside other products. This isn't much of a problem for me but for ... Read the complete review

As a shopping channel enthusiast I have fallen for many a product on television which claims amazing results, looks amazing on screen but is then a real disappointment when you get it at home and trust me on this because after watching each demo for 20 minutes or so I've bought practically them all. I watched the Liz Earle collection about five years ago for the first time on QVC. The presenters were all fawning over the smell when they lifted up a bottle and each presenter claimed it was the only thing they ever used. Having been disappointed by buying the full Decleor and Beverly Hills sets in previous months I managed to refrain from ordering. Difficult ... Read the complete review

Regardless of the marketing hype, there are a number of beauty products that have achieved cult status over the years. Take for example, Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Eclat or La Mer's Crème de la Mer moisturiser both of which are endorsed by beauty editors the world over and coveted by women the world over. But on the back of these premium priced products (a 30ml tub of Crème de la Mer will set you back a whopping £88!) there has been a great deal of hype towards more reasonably priced products. Whether you have an active interest in beauty or not, the astounding success of Boots No 7 Protect and Perfect Serum on the back of a BBC Horizons documentary surely can't ... I've tried many different cleansers over the years, some were better than others but there was none that I really thought, that's pefect, I'll stick with this one. I have combination skin, but don't really suffer from breakouts, and found it hard to find a cleanser that wasn't too harsh, or left my skin too dry or tight. I'm getting quite into using products that are organic, or use only natural ingredients, and I'd read about Liz Earle products in a few magazines as being both these things, plus a great cleanser, so I decided to buy one of the smaller sized bottles to see how it went. I purchased the cleanser and the muslin cloths off her website ... Read the complete review
