The best cleanser out there (and I've tried an awful lot!) (Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser)

Advantages: Fantastic, long lasting, good value cleanser

Disadvantages: Difficult to find in the shops - have to order off internet or QVC

Now that I've converted to cleansing with Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, there's no going back. I've tried dozens of cleansers (including many that cost £30 and upwards) and this is hands down the best (and probably the most cost efficient).

The cleanser itself is creamy consistency, made up of several skin-friendly natural ingredients. The idea behind the cleanser and cloth duo is that you massage the creamy cleanser into your skin (thus helping boost your circulation in the bonus) then wet your muslin cloth with hot water and massage off the cream (gently buffing off dead skin cells and the like and leaving your skin glowing).

Since switching to this cream my skin has been pretty much trouble free, obviously I get the odd spot and so on, but I never suffer from dry patches or any other skin ailments. After use, my skin always looks radiant, and several of my friends and family have since converted to the Liz Earle way of cleansing.

People often claim that this is more expensive than buying a standard wash off cleanser, but I'm sure it's not. Each bottle costs about £10 and always lasts me 3 months (using it both morning and night). I wash my muslin cloths in the wash every few days and they are extremely long lasting. I have about four on rotation and I have not replaced them yet in several years of using this product.

If you buy directly from Liz Earle, you will receive outstanding customer service - out of every shop that I have every bought from, theirs rates top. They wrap your order beautifully and will even send you little gifts now and then to entice you to try the rest of the range. Although I have to admit that I have yet to find another product from the range that impresses me as much as the Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. Everything else I could live without - this, is essential!
