About 12 years ago my mum ordered some Liz Earle products from QVC. She has very sensitive skin and had previously never found a product that her skin did not react to. After using the cleanser, her skin was fresh and only slightly red from the hot muslin cloth, which is used to wipe of the cleanser. This soon went after using the Tonic, which is recommended to accompany the cleanser. I at this time was still at school and although I did not suffer with acne, I did have teenage skin, which was sometimes very oily. My mum recommended that I try this and after a couple of weeks I had perfectly clear skin. Since that time I have only really used Liz Earle skincare products ... Read the complete review

I would say that Liz Earle's Naturally Active Skincare is probably a range that many of you have never heard of before. This is due to the fact that the products are not widely available on the high street and the only way to purchase them is by mail order, the internet or from the shopping channel QVC (found on Sky Digital channel 630). If you live in London, I believe that Browns (in South Molton Street) also have a few of the products. Liz Earle herself is a well known beauty author and has written many books about health and beauty and general lifestyle issues. Her range uses a blend of herbs, essential oils, vitamins and plant extracts and is suitable ... Read the complete review

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is undoubtedly the best cleanser I have ever used - and believe me I've tried a few! I am a self confessed beauty junkie and am often trying new things including very expensive top brand skin products, lured in by the promised of the wonderful things they can do for your skin. Well no longer is that the case! A good friend bought me this one birthday several years ago and I have never used anything else since. It comes very highly recommended by the editors and testers of The Beauty Bible book which is also worth a look at. One tester apparently gave it 11/10! OK down to the product itself. ... Paying nearly 20 quid in order to scrub off your makeup with a cleansing cream and a bit of muslin seemed ridiculous to me, and yet I had read so many rave reviews in magazines, celebrity testimonials claiming this as their must-have product, I admit that curiousity got the better of me and I decided to give it a go. I purchased my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser from QVC, and I would highly recommend this way of shopping for expensive skin-care treatments because they have a genuine, no-quibbles 30 day money back guarantee: this means you can try the product for 30 days and, if not ... yummm! (not the image of a babys bottom :S- the smell of liz earle concoction of herbs that makes up her hot cloth cleanse and polish cleanser!) RECOMMENDATIONS I first heard about this genious product from the '21st Century Beauty Bible' and what a result sparked from the testings. Here are what the testers said (all with different skin types): "Skin felt really clean and fresh after use and very soft", "after a few tries it left skin feeling velvety and radant; texture just right- felt rich on skin", "love-LOVED this product! Amazing difference on greasy chin, with noticeably closed pores", "took off full ... Read the complete review
