As a Liz Earle fan I was looking forward to trying this new launch - but was very disappointed. The cream looks, smells and feels lovely. It has a nice light consistency and scent. But it doesn't actually moisturise. On fact, after using it for a few days my hands were dryer than ever. The reason, I believe, is that it contains a high quantity of talc. That will make it feel nice and non-greasy when it is applied - as, indeed it does. The product does not rub in well and leaves a coating on your hands (the skin on my hands is dry) which needs to be wiped off. I have also been left with white marks on dark clothing when I have used this product. It does not seem to moisturise my nail area at all and is pretty ineffective on my hands. Personally I do not like the smell and prefer a product which is fairly odourless. The Cleanse and Polish does not have this strong smell of lavender. ...
