Advantages: Smells wonderfull
Disadvantages: Only available as a set
I have been using most of the Liz Earle skincare range since it was launched about four years ago. I recently tried one of the newer products the vital bath oils. These come in a pack of three tiny bottles 7.5 ml and each has a different blend of aromatherapy oils to add to your bath. The first thing that strikes you is how little you seem to be getting, but this is deceiving you use such a tiny capfull that each bottle gave me at least six baths. The three different blends are called Harmony which is designed to uplift and revive, Comfort to warm and Bliss to relax. With any of them you run a warm bath first and then add the oil to maximise the aroma. This aroma fills the whole house for some time so it is just as well they smell so delicious. My favourite is Bliss which is truly relaxing and smells wonderful, it contains lavender and Ylang-ylang which is supposed to be an aphrodisiac but I make no claims here. My second favourite is Comfort which is warming and relaxing it contains rosemary and lavender so it has a slightly medicinal smell. It is particularly nice to use if your muscles are aching or if you have a nasty cold. Next comes Harmony which has a citrus scent, contains grapefruit and petitgrain and is meant to revive you. This was the last one I finished purely because I prefer to shower in the mornings when I want to feel awake. But it does come in useful if you have twenty minutes for a bath in the evening before a night out as it does revive you after a hard day. One thig that unites all the blends is that whichever one you use your skin feels silky soft and has a beautiful scent after your bath. The state of your bathroom when you have finished? The bathroom and indeed most of your home is filled with aroma and the bath well it's fine just clean it as normal it doesn't leave a thick oily residue. I was very pleased with this purchase the on
e thing that would make it perfect for me would be to be able to buy the different blends individually as I just can't get enough of the Bliss. Liz Earle products are avaliable direst by mail order or from QVC. - 17/10/01 I'm with Star below! The bottles seem tiny. Do they go a long way? |

- 27/04/01 I've used quite a few Liz Earle products before but not the vital oils as they seem so tiny and I wasn't sure if they were worth £15. I have been waiting for QVC or her website to do a special offer on them but they haven't so far. Maybe I'll just buy them for my mother's birthday and "borrow" them... |
