Advantages: Quality and price of the products, Customer Care, Results!
Disadvantages: I want the whole range, I will probably buy the whole range, I'm going all girlie!
Liz Earle and Anthea Turner seemed one and the same person to me. During the years I watched GMTV they both irritated me as I perceived them as silly, fluffy and untalented. Well! If you’re reading this Liz then I offer my humblest apologies. You are one smart lady! Reading online beauty forums and discussion groups, plus viewing opinions on consumer websites such as this, I have heard nothing but praise for the Liz Earle range of naturally active skincare. The praise wasn’t only for the quality of the products themselves, but for her philosophy concerning customer care, packaging, delivery charges and speed of delivery. My decision as to how to shop was influenced by my location and the fact I’m an online shopping kinda person so it was the www.lizearle.com website for me. The website is perfect and a pure pleasure to visit with all the requirements for straightforward online shopping, but this opinion is about the products and service and not the excellent navigation and presentation of the Liz Earle website. I wanted daily essentials to include a cleanser, tonic and moisturiser and like most women may feel, a little concerned at spending too much money on skin products that I wasn’t able to actually test. Liz Earle knows this and offered a ‘Try Me Mini-Essentials Kit’ as an ideal introduction to the range; the essentials necessary for my daily beauty routine. This kit contained: Cleanse & Polish 30ml Instant Boost Skin Tonic 50ml Skin Repair dry/sensitive 15ml Skin Repair normal/ combination 15ml Muslin cloth Presented in a resealable, waterproof bag. These four beauty products are priced at only £15.00, so remembering all the excellent testimonials I had read I felt confident in ordering and awaiting my box of goodies. They arrived by post two days later and what a box of goodies it was too! The contents of the securely sealed outer box were han
d wrapped in pale blue tissue paper with twinkly little silver stars nestling amongst the folds. So very girlie eh? Inside the tissue was a golden muslin type pouch with a gathered ribbon tied top. Inside the golden bag were my four mini-essentials plus two free gifts. One was a phial of Superbalm Concentrate which I have now ordered after testing and the other a pretty 2003 Calendar, again tied with a ribbon. I’m sure I haven’t been removing all my make-up with the product I’ve been using, so my first step was the Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. I massaged the clean smelling cream from the tube onto dry skin, even on my eyes to remove the mascara. Then I rinsed the muslin cloth in hot water and polished off the cream and then a final rinse again with the muslin cloth in cool water. Next, cotton wool soaked in the Instant Boost Skin Tonic and a good wipe over my face and finally Skin Repair Moisturiser. My skin felt smooth and not one iota of irritation. After one week of continual use my skin is noticeably more radiant and healthy looking and sort of gleaming or I suppose, polished. I’m not surprised as the ingredients include, avocado, borage, echinacea, aloe vera, geranium, cucumber, almond, rosemary, chamomile, eucalyptus and natural vitamin E. All the ingredients are natural with no synthetic additives. The skin tonic is alcohol free and the only animal product used is beeswax, so the entire range is suitable for vegetarians. None of the ingredients are genetically engineered or tested on animals. Most of the products are preservative free unless they are required for safety. Sounds almost too good to be true-but it isn’t. The resealable waterproof bag is perfect for travelling as all the Try-Me kits are the perfect size for taking on holiday. What about the paperwork in the box of goodies? There’s a personal type touchy-feely letter welcoming me as a new customer, a Sales Receipt, an orde
r form and feedback questionnaire. There’s a slip with the name of my packer and a freephone customer care number in case I wasn’t entirely happy! I was happy! The enclosed brochure gave me a detailed description of the complete range plus a selection of Gift suggestions. The ‘Try-Me’ kits are available for body treatments and eye treatments, all containing the entire range for £15.00, so guess where I’m going next on the web? Yes, after the effectiveness and pampering my skin has experienced with the Daily Essentials, then I have complete faith in Liz Earle’s range of naturally active skincare. I thoroughly recommend them whatever your skin type, and anyway, they’re worth it just for that pampered feeling when the box arrives and ribbons and stars and soft tissue paper make you feel girlie and even give you a skin like one too! my mum who is a little cleansing freak nurtured me towards it as she was a fanatic! i have been using it for a while and like to team it with other products from time to time
the nourshing botanical body cream and the botanical orange flower body wash are a must if u want the feeling that u r receiving on your face on your body
i am a teenager and have reasonble spot free skin i recommend it to my friends who seems fans of clearasil etc ranges. they say liz earle is more expensive but they have to rebuy theres a lot more often whereas the ones i use last for yonks!
