Advantages: Not too expensive, good quality ingredients, works well for sensitive skins.

Disadvantages: No spf ingredients.

I have used the LIGHT version of this Skin repair moisturiser and I love it. Admittedly, I use it more in the spring/summer as my skins needs something a bit heavier for the colder months, but it's great as a stand alone moisturiser. It smells lovely and is a pleasure to use, unfortunately there's no spf value, so another product is needed prior to applying this or afterwards, depending on your spf ingredients and whether it is a chemical or physical sunblock.
I have used my decleor oils or Liz Earle's superskin oil underneath this moisturiser and it's light enough to keep a nice matt base for anything that follows it. I use this as a day cream and would use something else for night time, but that's just me and it's perfectly fine to use both morning and night should you wish, especially for teenagers who want to keep their hydrated and moisturised without over-loading their skins with ingredients that they do not need.

Again, like the cleanse and polish, this can be used for any family member and there will be a skin type to suit their skin. It's a pleasure to use and for the more mature skins, I would use this as a day cream and use the new superskin moisturiser in the evening if your budget can stretch to it.

Summary: A good, honest and yet effective moisturiser for all the family.
