It's convenient and the size is at an estimated 100g per pot (if you consider that you will be only using a small amount each time, it lasts a while, i'd estimate at least 2 months with once a day usage). The Price: Angels... retails at £5.42 for 100g, which is slightly pricey compared to the bargain prices of Simple cleansers, but when you consider that the ingredients ar...more

First Impression Angels on Bare Skin was one of the first Lush products I ever used. When you shop at Lush it is easy to get seduced by the naturalness of everything. For the first time I stopped and thought about all of the chemicals and preservatives that I had been slathering on my skin and realised how disgusting they actually were. Buying Angels on Bare Skin seemed like a natural step from this revelation, smoothing a medieval recipe on my skin seemed a highly romantic idea and the damsel in distress in me was very keen to try it . I have rather dry skin that can sometimes look a little dull and so I am always keen to exfoliate it and let it glow a bit. ...  Read the complete review

I brought Lush's 'Angels on bare skin' cleanser afer enjoying the wonderful soaps and bath bars from lush stores and deciding to give their skincare range a go. Here's some info from the lush website - 'Angelic medieval rose & lavender cleansing wash. Angels on Bare Skin is the Lush version of an excruciatingly expensive medieval skincare recipe. Rare, precious essential oils were first brought to Europe by the crusaders who encountered Arabian medicine; they were immediately banned by the church because of their ability to alter states of mind - the devil`s work! Anyway, at the end of the day the final result was Cosmetics 1, Church 0. Rose oil and ...  Read the complete review

On a recent trip to London I came across the Lush store on Regent Street completely by chance. Normally I purchase my Lush products off the website www.lush.co.uk because I live so damn far away from one, so I was excited at the prospect of actually going into a store finally. When I entered the store I was surprised at the smell. Normally Lush products smell gorgeous but the smell of the shop was not very pleasant, still this didn?t dash my excitement as their products have always performed well for me. The shop was fairly empty and when I went downstairs I was greeted by a lovely young man who proceeded to show me all the lovely natural hand-made ...  Read the complete review

"Ewww that's so gross, I keep getting rubbed up against his face..." "Stop complaing" replied spot number 2 "I wish that the boss would stop sending us to the same girl day after day" "Yeah its getting boring seeing the same stuff everyday.." came the reply of the mournful blemish. "I wish she could just buy a decent cleanser, this is just too gross!" "HA HA I'm gonna get rid of you then you ungrateful little spots" I sang So, what was the answer? Yup folks it is time for me to do another lush op! I'm the kind of person who always wanted for better skin, I mean, after all, who doesn't! I've tried all sorts of lotions and potions in my time (only a mere 23 years that is, but long enough I'll hope you understand), but after a while, after not being entirely satisfied by the products I tried, I got fed up with my search for the holy grail of skin care. So we all have different skin types right? This means that products will affect people in different ways, so I will explain that I have combination skin, with ye ole t-zone (oily patches on forehead, nose and chin). This is ...  Read the complete review
