Advantages: Great results, and perfect for senistive skin
Disadvantages: Not the most pretty mask
As an avid fan of the Lush brand I have slowly been working my way through their fresh environmentally friendly facemasks to settle on my favourite. The BB seaweed face mask (£6.95) was the first of their face masks I tried and was recommended to me by one of their typically enthusiastic and ready to help sales assistant after I mentioned that I have slightly sensitive skin. If honest my opinion is split, on one hand it worked wonders for my skin but when compared to the other Lush facemasks it is slightly less pretty and fun.

Where to (and tips for) buying a Lush face Mask?
The face masks, including this one, can be bought online from Lush, but I would strongly recommend going into your local branch as its much more fun. If I go in ready to buy a new mask (even if I know which one I want) I'll always dither around their display looking unsure, but then, after a short amount of time, like clockwork a sales assistant will arrive and ask if I'd like a try a few on first! I then smile and enjoy .... the assistant will then spoon to generous lumps on face masks onto the back of your hand, and leave on for 10 mins as you browse the rest of the store. Then she (or he) will gently wash it of with warm water, making you feel very special. This will help you realise if your skin is irritated by the product and give you a feel of how the product will work for you .... but more importantly its such fun!
The majority of assistants are also trained to tell you what your skin type is and which product will work best for you. When buying this product I mentioned that my skin was slightly sensitive and she recommended this product for me, and it was defiantly gentle on my skin.......but since then trying other masks I can honestly say my skin has not ever been irritated.

How to use it?
The mask (like all of Lush's masks) must be kept in the fridge as they do not contain any preservatives; if not then they are likely to gather mould and no one wants mould on their face. This also has then added benefit of feeling lovely and cold on application, making your skin instantly wake up. Always aim to apply on cleansed skin, then leave for 5-10 mins (I usually leave it for 10), when removing use luke warm water and for best results massage the product, with the help of the water, into the skin ensuring you get all the benefits, then tone and moisturise. For my skin type I tend to use once to twice a week as I feel over use is less beneficial to the skin, and applying 2 times per week the product usually last just over a month.

What I like and the unwanted zombie effect!
The product contains fresh nutritious seaweed, honey, aloe vera and rose absolute, which has a cooling, calming effect that is very sensitive on the skin. My skin type is 'normal to dry' and after just one use my skin felt and looked more alive, plumper and fresh - the results were wonderful.
However, its appearance is less than pretty. It is very thick, with large bits of seaweed in, it is greyish in colour and very lumpy when applied to the skin. The first time I used it my boyfriend jokingly exclaimed that a zombie had entered the room when I came out of the bathroom! (And people say romance is dead) It is also extremely messy when removing, leaving large lumps of grey mess in the sink, that take some cleaning.
This makes it perfect to use if from a face mask is fantastic to use but if you're more like me and want to feel pampered then I would recommend another one of their masks, which has more powerful yummy smells (with some you have to resist the urge to eat them they smell so good!) or have a more pretty appearance and colour, in stead of a grey, lumpy zombie mask.
Oh and don't forget once to have 5 washed out pots that they come, you can take them into Lush and they will give you a mask for free!!
Summary: Not a very girly mask, but wonderful results
