Breath of Fresh Air Toner From Lush
I have a pretty good daily routine with taking my makeup off and cleaning my face the appropriate way. I exfoliate on a regular basis but I make sure that I cleanse tone and moisturise every evening and get all the muck off from my makeup and from the days outings.
As I am a regular visitor to the Lush store it was only a matter of time before I came across this great product that tones the skin. It was at a reasonable price for the size of the bottle and I was in no hesitation to add it to my little shopping basket. It cost only £5.50pence for a 250-gram bottle of this toner, which is rather large compared to toners I have purchased from other places.
The toner come sin the classic mat black plastic that most Lush products that are bottled come in. The design is rather slick and I do have a lot of matching black bottles in my bathroom and they look good together on my glass shelf. Anyhow the bottle is a good design with a squirt top dispenser that is simple to use. There is a small clear plastic lid that fits tightly over the squirter but this is more of a hindrance and I take this off, as the bottle is safe without it on. The bottle has a few simple labels on with ingredients, directions for use and the like. This is all easy to read and is not in too tiny writing like some labels are.
I have used this bottle nearly down to the end and just in the time limit really. Most products from Lush have a use by date and this is often fairly a long period of time but this toner seemed to have last me for ages. I have been really pleased with it however and am quite upset that it is nearing the end. The toner I use in conjunction with my cleanser and after I have cleansed my face I then apply this toner to a cotton wool pad and begin working all over my face from my forehead down mostly in circular motions and this removes both the residue from the cleanser and any excess dirt that the cleanser was unable to shift.
This Breath of Fresh Air toner is said to include in its ingredients rejuvenating rosemary along with nutritious seaweed absolute and rose that is for softening the skin and what makes this toner the essential skin revitalising skin spray. Lush say it is good for people who are suck in an air-conditioned offices or rooms too much in a day.
To use this Breath of Fresh Air Toner is pretty simple the bottle is easy to use and with only a few sprays you get the desired amount nicely onto the cotton wool pad. A little does go a long way and I use two cotton wool pads each with three to four sprays on which is why this particular bottle has lasted me for so long. The toner has a very light and fresh fragrance that is almost undetectable but really does just smell fresh, clean and very inviting.
Against the skin the product feels very cooling and really seems to give the skin a little bit of life. The toner works well in improving the skins feel, texture and appearance. It not only cleans and refreshes my skin but also makes the tone seem brighter in some way and really give it that uplift it needs after having used the cleanser bar.
Overall I am pretty impressed with this toner and although I have bought a different toner to follow on from this one I am sure I will at some point be thinking about buying this again in the near future.
