Lush Buffy the Backside Slayer Skin Care

Lush Buffy the Backside Slayer

Description: Brand: Lush / Skin Care Type: Exfoliator / Thorough exfoliation bar for your body.

Newest Review: ... mass of butter (the moisturising part) with little dark specks through it (those are the bits that do the exfoliating!) ... more

... This next part is vital - to use it BREAK A PIECE OFF and rub in to wet skin. If you let the whole bar get wet then it dissolves and you don't get any more use out of it,which isn't good at all as this is something lovely which you want to last for a while! While you scrub it in you'll feel it scrubbing the dead skin away and taming your bumpy bits a little. Once you've scrubbed it into your skin in circular motions and rinsed it off and dried yourself, your skin will look and feel fab. The tone of it will be more even...more

Now I have already declared King Of Skin body butter "one of the best firming & toning body treatments available on the market." And I stand by that as far as basic tonifying oils go, particularly ones that can be used on a daily basis for overall intensive moisturising. However I think it was time to use a new body butter! I have been used King of Skin for quite sometime, even though I have seen the others in store I have always reverted to my old favourite, however I had a spontaneous decision to change products and I'm glad I did. Buffy, on the other hand, is more of a 2-in-one product for weekly use: it not only contains King Of Skin's base ...  Read the complete review

I am all for using natural products, and that's when I discovered Lush. The natural cosmetics shop, specialising in selling bath and body cosmetics using all good things natural without the need of animal testing. Before I had gotten completely addicted, I had heard a lot about the Buffy body butter. Specifically for use after a shower, to exfoliate, moisturise and firm thighs, backsides and other places where cellulite or stretch marks can attack. I had been putting on weight in a short amount of time and felt the crinkles on my thighs and thought 'oh god, no.' However when I heard of this little beauty, I knew I must try it. They come ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review If the cellulite comes, beep me! (1064 words)

You have to love the pop culture references in the products from Lush…the Strokes hair conditioner, Marilyn hair conditioner, and the wonderful Buffy the Backside Slayer. Its only so long before they get sued. Buffy the Backside Slayer is an unappetising (as opposed to most of Lush’s stuff, which looks like food) looking greyish-beige blob. It doesn’t look like much on first sight, but hell your in for a surprise. The main ingredients are cocoa and shea butter, and ground rice, almonds and aduki beans. Buffy is here with a mission, that mission would be giving you a smoother, sexier butt. It can be used all over the body despite the name, and if you want ...  Read the complete review

There are two kinds of Buffy I love. The first is a tongue-in-cheek cult TV show that features a beautiful blonde; the other is a rather unattractive (but blonde, I suppose) lump of cocoa butter and ground rice. The delightfully named Buffy the Backside Slayer (which sounds, as someone pointed out, like a dodgy porn movie) is a newish product from my absolute fave body care shop in the world. Lush of course! All puns aside and without wondering how Lush actually got away with calling it this without Warner Bros banging down the door, if you want a Buffy butt, this is the way to go. OK, so we all know its not going to tone your ass down to a size eight so you can ...  Read the complete review
