Advantages: Preservative and packaging free, and really works!!

Disadvantages: Melts quickly and clogs up razor

Me again, Lush addict...I have of course tried every one of the body butters, Buffy being the first one...

A reasonably sized bar (actually available in 2 sizes) made with cocoa and shea butters, ground rice, almonds and aduki beans, lavender oil and lemon oil. One of Lush's totally natural, preservative free products- I love this about Lush; preservative and packaging free products, such as the shampoo bars, massage and bubble bars/ballistics-the fact that they even offer these solid options alongside the liquid variants makes me love them a whole lot more!!

The Buffy bar is an odd looking little lovely; a tad unconventional, and unlike any other exfoliating product I have used in the past. The first few times I used this product, I loved it...Soft, smooth, moisturised and soothed skin, all over. It is great to try on the legs just before shaving or putting on fake tan, to help smooth and remove dead skin cells. The lavender is very healing aswell, and I have found that this helps with any nicks and soothes any razor burn. For the thinghs/hips/any wobbly bits, it really helps to smooth them out, reduce the appearance of lumps and bumps and tone the skin. This effect can take a while to achieve, but it is definitely worth sticking with, as a combination of Buffy and my dry skin brush has really made a significant difference to my orange peel butt!!

The fab thing with the body butters, as well as them being preservative and packaging free, is that if you buy 2 bars you get a butter tin for FREE, which is worth about £2.89...a great deal worth taking advantage of.

One problem with Buffy is that if you leave it in the water stream/bath water/ get it too wet for a prolonged period, it will melt down really quickly. The trick is to wet your skin, not the bar, and when you're done with it, pop it straight back into the tin/soapdish, and wait for it to dry before placing the lid on as this can encourage bacteria growth...!!!

The only other downside with Buffy from my experience, is that it can clog up your razor a tad if you do not fully wash it off after use. This is of course pretty annoying and will result in your razor being blunted quite hastily. But if you are meticulous with its' removal, you won't have a problem- and you will have the smoothest skin you could ever haved dreamed of!

Summary: Beautiful natural product that every woman needs to try!
