Ignore the smell and this is the perfect cleanser (Lush Cleanser Aquamarina)

When you first walk into a Lush shop you tend to make a bee line for the bright, gorgeous smelling bath bombs and soaps. But, tucked away in a corner, there'll be several clear pots of clenser with huge slabs of the cleanser they've been cut off from at the side. If you're not sure which cleanser is best for you, then ask one of the really enthusiastic staff. As well as solid cleansers, there are also bars, but I haven't yet tried those as they look a bit difficult to use.

Aqua Marina is a 'gentle, calming but effective cleanser' and using it will 'detoxify your skin and protect it from the wear and tear of daily life'. It's just under 4 pounds for 100g and under 8 pounds for 200g. Some of the ingredients include 'irish moss infusion, sweet orange oil and aloe vera gel', and it is suitable for vegetarians.

Firstly DO NOT be put off by the really terrible fishy smell. As long as you wipe the cleanser away thouroughly you wouldn't smell the difference between Aqua Marina and a fragrance free clenaser. Smooth a pink squidgy blob on your face, and, while trying not to breathe in the stench, relalise how wonderfully soft your skin is fast becoming! Rinse away and WOW! Instantly fresh, bright, clear and smooth skin, all for around four pound a pot.

The results are great, as is the whole naturalness of the product. You feel so much more refreshed than just slapping on a boring clear gloop. And besides, the smell wakes you up on a morning, and you actually CAN be bothered to wash your face.

It lasts a couple of months, but it really depends on how much you choose to use. I use this everyday and my skin is clearer than it ever was when I bought expensive gloopy cleansers from Boots.
