Great for oily skin. (Lush Coalface)
Member Name: RainWitch
Advantages: Cheap, clears up oil, natural. Disadvantages: I suppose some might not like the smell, or the black colour.
I got this as a sample from Lush. It is a bar shape, on one side slightly glittery because of the charcoal gleaming and matte on the other side. This cleanser is designed for very oily skin, as the charcoal soaks up the oil and also exfoliates a little bit. It costs £4.04 for 100g, but you can buy more or less than this. I use this every other day, alternating with Ultrabland. In the summer my skin goes oilier, in the winter it dries out, so I am constantly looking for a good cleanser. To use this, I wet my face then wet the bar, rub it in my palm so it produces some (black) lather, then rub that over my face. This way I use less product, and the black drips don't get on the basin. After washing my face, I tone, moisturise and apply some spot gel. This has resulted in almost all of my spots going, and those that haven't have shrunk. Summary: A real find for my skin! |
