Premium Review Lush Cosmetic Lad: probably more suited for the boys as it didn't work that wel ... (702 words)

I tried this moisturiser out as one of the sales ladies at Lush recommended it to me because I told her that the celestial moisturiser is a bit too rich and feels a tiny bit too oily for my skin. I suffer from dry skin but I think the celestial would work better in winter because then I would need something super hydrating. So for now, she suggested I try this one called cosmetic lad. I thought it was a bit odd for her to suggest as it had the word lad in it which I assumed was especially formulated for men. She told me that it was actually a printing error and was meant to say lab not lad but then Lush thought they would keep it this way as it might persuade some men to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cosmetic Lad: Not just for the boys! (457 words)

~Overview, ingredients, pricing and availability~ Cosmetic Lad is a multi-functional product from those lovely people at Lush. It's displayed with the moisturisers, but is actually a moisturiser, after-sun, shaving balm and hair cream all in one pot! Priced at £9.74 it originally may seem a bit pricey, but when you consider all the things it can be used for, it's a bargain! Available from Lush stores and via the website lush.co.uk. Ingredients as per the Lush website: Lavender Honey Water, Linseed Mucilage, Organic Aloe Vera, Chickweed, Chamomile & Marigold Petal Extract, Cold Pressed Organic Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter, Fresh ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Cosmetic Lad: One for the boys (199 words)

This is Lush for boys!! This is a multi product because most guys out there don't like to have anything like this in their bathroom, so get them this, tell them it is for their hair (no really you can use it on hair, it's quite thick so sort of like a putty!) and if they want they can put it on their face too! They will be converted before you know it!! It can also be used as a balm to put on after they have had a shave, or they can use it as an after sun, it is so versatile. It took my other half about 2 weeks to admit he was actually putting it on his face, not just using it after he shaved to stop the singing!! He still puts it on in secret and I only know when he ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review It's not only ladies who moisturise! (256 words)

This is a multi-function moisturiser available from Lush.It is a wholly natural product made from such things as sandalwood oil, tangerine oil and cocoa butter (amongst other things!);and smells of chocolate oranges! It can be used as hair cream,after-sun or an after-shave balm (which is what I use it for!)The product is made fresh and is only likely to be a couple of weeks old by the time it is bought,it's best before is about a year. It is a very nice product to use,it goes on smoothly, and it makes the skin very smooth.Any soreness from the shaving seems to disappear after a couple of minutes, this is probably due to things like the Aloe Vera gel. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Cosmetic Lad: Lovely for ladies as well as lads! (77 words)
by - written on 25/11/05 (Somewhat useful, 149 readings)

This is a lovely thick moisturiser, which has a gorgeous vanilla smell. It works really well on dry skin, but is also non-greasy and is great for combination skin too. It's ideal to use as a face cream, but also good as a hand-cream. Don't be put off if you're not a lad - the best thing about it is that it's cheaper than the other Lush 'women's' moisturisers. The only disadvantage is that my husband steals ...  Read the complete review
