... 10 minutes but I find that leaving it on longer can be nicer, plus with the natural ingredients there will be no adverse affects, provided the mask is suitable for your skin type (lush staff can help you decide this). Once the mask has been ona while it goes hard and can flake off, when I want to remove it I use water and massage my skin in circular motions to increase blood flow and to exfoliate my skin as the mask comes off. The face mask comes in a black pot with screw top lid. It contains around 75 grams of p...more

Well I decided to try this face mask on New Years Eve. Not because I was going out somewhere I wanted my face to be stroked, but because I hate New Years eve- its cold, its dark and there is a long and frozen wait for a night bus home if you have not re-mortgaged in order to afford a black cab home (who by the way "will not go south of the river..." (Yup, I live in London). So my evening in needed to be time well spent. I wanted to feel better and I wanted to be occupying my time. (Just try going to bed early on NYE, its virtually impossible!) I had bought this face mask among other Lush products that were to fill my evening. It was not cheap- the ...  Read the complete review

Trying face masks can be a bit hit and miss, especially when they promise to make your skin super clear and wipe away all the dirt that lies beneath. Then when you actually try it for a couple of weeks, it doesn't seem to have much effect or makes you break out. Having tried a few face masks, more natural based than synthetic, I found one that I really got on well with. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason it went out of production and I was on the look-out for something new... Lush, the natural bath and cosmetics company then came into mind. Not the first place I would go for a face mask, as they tend to be much more expensive than your typical ...  Read the complete review

Since getting Lemony Flutter cuticle cream a few months ago, I must admit I'm becoming a bit of an addict when it comes to Lush products and if I'm in Dundee for the day, then a visit to the Lush shop there is a must. I've had a few problems with my face lately and was recommended to try this product as I have sensitive skin and I thought a mask would be a good idea to make my skin silky smooth and rid itself of impurities. ***Background*** Lush is a company that specialises in making and selling beauty products made of fresh natural ingredients that do not contain animal ingredients. They make the products by hand and you will see on ...  Read the complete review

This is just one of the many fresh face masks which Lush sell. The face mask retails at £6.45 on the website (lush.co.uk), however I think they retail at around £5 in store. The fresh face masks all tend to have a sell by date of approximately a month after purchase; it is always worth checking the sell by date before you buy in order to ensure you are getting the best value. The sell by date is so short because the face masks contain fresh ingredients which go bad. The mask also needs to be kept in the fridge in order to preserve the ingredients. The fresh ingredients in this facemask are avocado, natural yoghurt and and lemon juice. The yoghurt ...  Read the complete review
