I was initially offered a free sample of this to try and went ahead to buy the full sized product as i was so pleased with the results. This cleanser is available both in-store and on-line and retails at £5.25 for 100g.Don't be put off by this as you only need to use this product twice a week and mine is still fresh after six months! Dark Angels is one of Lush' toughest cleansers, aimed at oily skin. The ingredient that works the wonders is charcoal - not something you'd think of putting on your face normally, but Lush use it in a few things and it always seems to work amazingly for me. It's a solid sort of powdery substance, hard to describe. It's charcoal-black. It smells delicious - rough and charcoally and sort of rugged (I think blokes would use this cleanser,it's totally strong and manly!) Charcoal is the main ingredient, which absorbs oils and exfoliates your skin. While it also contains avocado oil which helps to soften your skin, glycerine which keeps the moisture in and black sugar which is the extra exfoliator. It also contains rhassoul mud which is anti-microbial and provides deep cleansing, while the sandalwood and rosewood essential oils are sooth your skin. It come in ... Read the complete review

Dark Angels is a very thorough cleanser, and is not for everyday use. I have combination skin, and the sales assistant recommended I use it twice a week, however if you have dry skin then once a week would be sufficient. Take a small pimch of the product and put it in the palm of your hand. Add a few drops of water and gently rub the dark angels until it forms a fairly runny paste. Then gentley rub the product onto your face, paying particular attention to any problem areas that are prone to spots. Then gently wash the product away. It is important to be very thorough when you're rinsing it off as dark angels is black and it looks a tad odd if you miss any! I ... Read the complete review
