Advantages: It clears up common skin conditions

Disadvantages: Slightly expensive

Now i've made quite a lot of reference to having ezcema especially in my review of In The Nude Bath melt. I've been suffering for quite a while with the horrible skin condition and i'm tearing my hairout as it's just driving me mad! And all the stress that I've got fom worrying about having ezcema doesn't do it any good either!!

After the usual products didnt work, such as the good old E45 cream and even the doctors prescription cream didn't really work I decided to turn to Lush for a miracle product. After coming across quite a few reviews about Lush's Dream Cream (especially reviews from mother's using it on their children because of it's soothing qualities) I thought I would splash out on a tub!

My Dream Cream came in the usual black tub with the very usual Lush label! Once you open the lid you see a white coloured cream, just like all your other typical creams but smells absolutely wonderful!! The cream itself is a nice consistency. I have used various creams over the years and this one is not too thick and it isn't too runny either. It feels lovely and cold on your hands when you first put it on to them. I find that it takes a bit of practice to get the right amount. Too little cream and you don't feel like you have enough cream on and too much can make it difficult to smooth over your skin and get it to start moisturising in to your skin.

The scent is slightly odd and it requires a bit of getting used to, I consider nothing short of stunningly beautiful; straight up herbal lavender (the natural kind, not the fake floral perfume kind that most cosmetics companies use) with a dash of rose and chamomile. You'd think that this would give a floral fragrance but no! It's slightly strange and most people who use Dream Cream will probably agree with me!

A little Dream Cream goes a long way towards doing it all, not only working magic on dry or sore, sensitive skin (and particularly those like me who are affected by eczema and psoriasis), but also being equally wondrous when applied sparingly to oilier skin (such as my mother!). Simply put, Lush took all of nature's most effective skin care gifts and lovingly stirred them into one little black pot; vitamin E-rich olive oil and rose leave skin toned and softened, chamomile soothes soreness and redness, calamine relieves itchiness, oats even the complexion's colouring, and cocoa butter and glycerine gently smooth dry patches (and often looseness associated with stretch marks). On the forums I have browsed alot of parents use this for children who have minor skin problems because it is so mild and the fact that it really does work.

Dream Cream has a lovely texture as I said above, it's just the perfect consistency. The cream is really easily absorbed and sinks into the skin immediately but don't use too much as you'll be scraping the excess off and you could be left with greasy skin! The slightly odd fragrance is alot more subtle on your skin and it actually smells alot more floral. My skin felt moisturised for hours which was great, I use this cream three times a day to get the maximum benefit from it.

Additionally, as both a hand and foot lotion, this is Lush's most penetratingly effective, enabling you to religiously rely on one product where you might have otherwise purchased three which lets face it ends up saving you so much money. To top it all off, even insomniacs and victims of jet-lag can benefit from Dream Cream's tranquilizing lavender and chamomile essential oils, with all of the above making this an all-purpose, triple-threat lotion that's simply beyond compare. If you can manage to take a little bit of Dream Cream with you on holiday then do so as it's so great to use on the plane to sooth any nerves.

My only complaint about this cream is the fact it has a 2 month life. It's best before date is usually 2 months after it was made. You can usually find this on the little sticker which was put on the tub to let you know who made it. I would watch what the date is when you buy one as you want to buy the newest one available. However, lets face it these items very rarely go out of date but don't open it, use it once and then never use it again for 6 months!

What Lush say:-

Incredibly soothing body lotion for troubled skin.
You'd be unlikely to buy Dream Cream for its herbal scent alone; chamomile smells a bit too much like freshly dug flower beds, even with lavender and rose thrown in. No, Dream Cream is Lush's best-selling product because it makes sore skin feel good again. It calms irritations, reduces redness and banishes blotches. It contains everything nature makes for soothing your skin.

£9.30 will get you a tub containing 250g of this wondering miracle cream. Yes I know what your all thinking! It is expensive for such a small amount but you only need a small amount as a little goes a long way!

All in all my skin is finally starting to get better, i'm now looking forward to wearing shortsleeved tops! It hasn't taken long either for the cream to start working so i'm glad i splashed out on my lovely little tub!

Summary: One word: MIRACLE!
