Advantages: Great for sensitive, easily irritated skin.

Disadvantages: Price, Smells not so 'lush'

Before I begin I must admit that I previously refused to buy any Lush products as I thought that they were over priced and too "hyped up" but I was at the end of my tether with my overly sensitive spot prone hormonal skin. Some one on an online forum suggested that I try Lush dream cream as it "soothes" the skin. I scoffed and said no. But the other week I was in Edinburgh and walked by the store, so I thought I might as well go in and have a look.

I was quite happy to see that you can sample the products first. I first tried Ultra Bland (which I will reveiw later) and Dream Cream. A lovely assistant told me how exaclty to use it and what the ingredients were.

The ingredients include:

Oat Milk, Glycerine, Rose Water, Triethanolamine, Tincture of Benzolin, Rose Absolute, Chamomile oil, Tea Tree oil, Lavender oil and cetearyl alcohol.

Chamomile and Rose water are well known for reducing redness while tea tree oil is known for its antiseptic properties. All the ingredients add up to a lovely, kind, smooth moisturiser for skin. It is suitable to use on the face as well as the body.

It 'sinks' into the skin well although if you use to much it can leave a greasy residue for a few minutes, nothing major though. I have also found that this cream creates an excellent base for mineral foundations. Please note I haven't tried it with liquid foundation.

The smell isn't as nice as other Lush products but its definetley not unpleasent in any way.

The packaging is just a black tub with the name and ingredients on it. The will be a sticker on the tub telling you which staff member made the product, when it was made and when the expiry date is. As always, return 5 (clean!!) tubs and get a lovely face mask for free.

Currently this product retails for £9.60 for 240g. It is well worth the money as you only need a tiny amount!

I've got to say, I AM CONVERTED!!!

Summary: A great product
