I'm quite a fan of Lush massage bars, they just seem to have more than one use. Apart from providing a bit of intimate fun with a partner they also moisturise your skin properly. Each Peach is a firm favourite of mine as it's ideal for a pick me up. I'm always reguarly stocked up on this bar as it never fails to let me down!

The story behind Each Peach:-

"The German store sell a lot of massage bars, and they asked Mark for some more fruity, more uplifting, wake up massage bars. Mark was happy to oblige and came up with this one, the name is taken from a popular children's rhyme that goes "Each Peach Pear Plum (which is by Janet Ahlberg)." We changed it a little to encourage people to perhaps buy two, "twos a pair" as they tend to do in Germany. The mould for the bar is also decorated with peach blossom, to help distinguish each bar from another."

So do you find yourself looking for hidden fruits in this Massage Bar by way of its name alone. It doesn't smell like a peach. It doesn't smell like a pear. In fact, if you look closely, you'll find almost every fruit except peaches and pears! And as much as you might like peaches and pears, we won't hear you complaining, I can assure you. Would I really want to smell of peaches and pears? I can imagine it would get quite sickly!

With skin restorative cocoa, shea, and avocado butters combined with mood and circulation restorative Persian lime, red grapefruit, sweet orange and mandarin, what you have here is a Massage Bar that also makes an excellent body butter treatment in the shower. Packed with natural skin toners, you can either be a traditionalist and have someone butter you up (pun intended) or you can massage this bar onto your skin in the shower and follow it up with a blast of toning cold water to remove excess oils and leave your skin and brain in their perkiest state ever.

Due to it's great moisturising properties your skin stays soft and smooth. An ideal massage bar for those who have dry skin as it really seems to absorb the essential oils and the skin starts to look alot healthier in just a few days time.

One of Lush's two best "mood" massage bars, it's packed with anti-depressant essential oils, their soft, sweet, fruit dessert fragrance (topped with an aromatic dollup of cream) guaranteed to gently open your eyes, clear your head, and banish lethargy and fatigue which is ideal for mornings as a great wake me up! (For those who suffer from depression or Seasonal Affective Disorder, I strongly recommend keeping two Massage Bars on hand at all times: an Each Peach for use in the mornings, and a lavender and citrus Therapy Massage Bar for the evenings.) Another pick me up for S.A.D suffers is Lush's shower gel Happy for SAD, that is a great (but slightly expensive) shower gel which is packed full of anti depressant products.

All this and looks, too: the saffron-tinted, lemon creme coloured Each Peach & Two's A Pear bears a beautiful etching of fragile fruit flowers blossoming on sprawling tree branches, funnily enough I actually have a blossom tree in my garden which reminds me everytime of Each Peach when it flowers. So if you need a lift and don't have time for a full massage, simply apply Each Peach's oils to pulse points and breathe deeply while admiring this dainty work of Asian-inspired art. That should do the trick to instantly set you straight again.

I have known some people on the Lush forum take a piece to work with them and in case they feel a headache coming on they just get it out of their bag and quickly massage it onto the pulse points for a soothing effect.

Each Peach is a bargain I think at £4.40. One of the cheaper massage bars Lush do but it's one of the greatest! It's versatile and has a lovely delicate fragrance which stays on your skin for hours. If you want to be a super saver and can't be bothered with the whole massaging thing, then why not cut it up into smaller pieces and just use in the shower or as a solid body cream.
